Sara grew up in Gothenburg and taught English and history for twelve years before leading a bilingual school in Malmö. She became head of Vanta in 2019, the fourth in the school’s history.
She still teaches one Year 9 history class a week, because she believes a head who doesn’t teach forgets what school feels like. Most mornings you’ll find her at the gate.
