Questions parents ask
All questionsDoes my child need to speak Danish?
No. Lessons are in Danish and English, and children new to either get daily support until they're comfortable, usually within a year.
Is there a waiting list?
For Early years, often. In Primary and Secondary, places open during the year as families move, so it's always worth applying.
Can we join in the middle of the year?
Yes. Most new children start in August or January, but if you're moving to Copenhagen we'll do our best to find a place sooner.
Do you welcome children with additional needs?
Yes. Tell us on the form and we'll talk it through with you and our learning support team before the meeting.
Do siblings get priority?
Brothers and sisters of current pupils are offered places first, as long as we can meet the child's needs.
Start an application
Tell us a little about your family. We'll email you the full form, and a time to meet.
