Nine hectares of wood, water and room to think.

Classrooms are only part of the school. The rest is the wood, the lake, the workshop, the kitchen and the clubs that run until five.

Where the day happens

One campus for all three stages, so a four-year-old and a sixteen-year-old share the same lake.

Clubs, until 17:00

Fifteen clubs a week, led by our own teachers. Most are included in the fees; swimming and climbing have a small charge.

Warm lunch, every day

Cooked each morning by Elena Moretti and her team, mostly organic and eaten together at long tables. Allergies and diets are handled in the kitchen, not left to chance.

    The whole school walks round Lyngby lake on the first Friday of term.

    Candles, singing and saffron buns in the hall before first lessons.

    Costumes, the barrel and a crowned cat king or queen in every class.

  • Summer

    Camp week

    Every class from Year 3 up spends five days away, from Bornholm to the Swedish lakes.

Come and see it on a school day.

Bring good shoes. The wood is part of the tour.
